Five Guys

Proof that simplicity can speak the loudest.

INSIGHT

Fast food forgot that simple is what satisfies.

Everywhere you look, fast food is fighting for attention with louder menus, bolder claims, bigger stunts. But in the noise, something simple got lost: the joy of a perfect burger made just right.

Five Guys has always been the quiet one. No shortcuts.
No gimmicks. Just the pursuit of perfect simplicity for 40 years. But while their burgers spoke for themselves, the brand’s silence risked invisibility in a category that never stops shouting.

IDEA

Refreshingly Real.

The Refreshingly Real campaign celebrates what Five Guys has always stood for — no frills, no fakes, no false promises.

We turned radical simplicity into a breakthrough voice of its own: imperfect, honest, and human. Every touchpoint carried the unvarnished promise of real food, real people, and real kitchens.

By owning what makes Five Guys different, we redefined authenticity as a competitive edge. It wasn’t advertising pretending to be real — it was reality, unedited.

We brought Five Guys’ honesty to life through an unfiltered lens. Instead of traditional fast-food ads packed with slow motion cheese pulls and overly lit sets, the films looked and felt real, almost like a behind-the-scenes moment caught mid-service.

We showed burgers as they are — sizzling, dripping, unapologetically delicious. The campaign rolled out across digital, social, video, and more, inviting burger lovers to experience the simple joy of something made right.

We turned Five Guys’ digital world into a natural extension of its in-store soul — honest, human, and unmistakably real. From imagery to interface, every detail echoed the warmth of the counter and the pride of the grill. The design put connection first, deepening loyalty and appetite across 27 countries.
